Check Your Log Book

If you need routine maintenance on your car, it may be a good idea to check your vehicle’s log book. You should have it with the rest of the paperwork that you got when you bought the car. The logbook will go into great detail about the checks that must be done and when they must be done.

Examples of the work includes replacing the oil, replacing your battery, rotating your tyres, conducting a wheel alignment, checking the engine, suspension and other components and performing numerous other checks to ensure that everything is running as it should.

The great news is that if you have your log book you can bring it into our shop along with your car. We will happily take a look at your book, see when you last had particular checks done and carry out the work for you. We will only do the work that is specified in your log book.

If our mechanics find any other problem or potential problem while we are working, we will come back to you and ask if you want us to perform quick repairs to fix or prevent the issue. That way you can decide whether to nip a small problem in the bud or wait until it’s a much bigger and potentially more expensive problem later.
